Remote controlled antenna selector!

I needed to create a simple antenna selector as possible. I was fine with the idea if the selector itself leaks some of the signal, or has a bad impedance – I just wanted to be able to select between two antennas and one receiver – remotely.

As AirSpy R1 and AirSpy Mini has a software controllable BiasT power output option I decided use it as the software side of the selector. Then I connected a very small µSwitch to the antenna connector of the Airspy and fed two antenna outputs to it.

With this solution I am able to remotely select between two antennas.

As said, the impedance, signal leak and everything is as bad as it just can get, but considering my need and the simplicity of the circuit this suits very well to my current solution.
