I have a small remote controlled weather cam installed to balcony. Few days ago it was reported a quite bright “fireball” was seen on the east sky. I checked the recordings from my cam and found out that there have been several trails of something almost at the same time for several days.
At the moment I am not sure if these are some space junk that is coming down, or actual meteorites – I have asked if URSA (Astronomical Association of Finland) could verify my findings.
UPDATE: It has been verified that these are not related to any metrorites nor space junk. The trailing seen in the video is due to the way this camera handles low light filming. The mystery stays open, perhaps some day this can bee verified to be something much more interesting, or pure hoax 🙂
